How To Apply
There are two ways of entering the BSc course in Computing Studies / Mathematical Science. Both involve applying through the CAO:

The denominated entry is CAO code GY306. This is for those who have decided that they definitely want to pursue a course in computing studies / mathematical science. This course will follow the structure contained within the course outline. Students will have choices between certain modules that they wish to pursue but all applicants will take a common core of subjects.

There is also an undenominated entry through the general science course CAO code GY301. This is the course for students with an interest in science. They take four science subjects in first year of which one can be computing studies / mathematical science. At the end of first year the students are then given a choice of which subjects they wish to keep on until degree level.
