Syllabus
  Entry requirements:
In addition to the normal requirements for entry to the B.Sc. Degree, candidates must also obtains a minimum of Grade C3 in the Higher Level Leaving Certificate examination in Mathematics or Grade A2 in the Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate examination in Mathematics.

Students in this programme who in their first and second years fulfil Faculty requirements for proceeding to a B.Sc. programme in other departments, will with the permission of Faculty, be allowed into the other degree programmes.

Degree
An Honours or a General Degree may be awarded. Students failing to gain entry to the Fourth Year Honours course, will, if they reach the required standard, be awarded the B.Sc. (General) Degree. The 4th year degree result may be determined on the basis of an aggregate of the marks awarded in the 3rd year and 4th year examinations
